Youth Exchange
The Rotary Youth Exchange program is administered by Rotary clubs and districts, and is open to high school students between the ages of 15-19. A Rotary Youth Exchange student will spend a year living with host families and attending school in a country other than their own. They will learn a new way of living, maybe a new language, and a great deal about themselves. The program welcomes inbound students from other countries and encourages outbound students visiting other countries.
The Mt. Pleasant Rotary Club has welcome numerous inbound students from many countries in the past. At present, the Club has decided to focus on outbound students. One student from Sacred Heart Academy has completed the full application process and has been selected to go to Austria in August 2017. For more information about traveling as an outbound student, please contact our Youth Exchange Chair.
