Sergeant at Arms

The purpose of the Sgt At Arms Committee is to promote order in the club and have fun doing it. Members of the committee are generally assigned for two months (non-consecutive) during the year at the beginning of the year. They fine members and give a chance for members to brag in exchange for a fine. Fines generally are $1. This keep it light and fun and yet not a burden on the membership. If a Sergeant cannot do his/her assignment for the week, they recruit a replacement and then notify the president. All fines raised are donated at the end of the year to our Rotary Scholarship Fund at the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation.
