Every year, the Rotary Club of Mt. Pleasant recognizes a Distinguished Citizen of the Year. Distinguished Citizens are recognized for their long-term service, especially in volunteer roles within Isabella County. They do an outstanding job with their volunteer work and many do not otherwise receive recognition for their service to others. Some volunteer their time with one organization, while others share their time and talents with multiple organizations.
